Actor Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister appeared at WrestlePro‘s No Holds Barred event on November 9th and cut a promo for the fans in attendance.
In addition to taking part in a pre-show meet and greet. Lister, most known to fans as ‘Zeus’ from the Hulk Hogan ’80s film and ‘Deebo’ from the Friday series, opened tonight’s event with an in-ring promo, which was named in honor of his villainous character. Lister talked about some of his previous and upcoming movie roles, including the latest installment of the Friday series, which he said will (finally) be released next year. (That film, called Last Friday, has been in development for several years, with Ice Cube saying he was finalizing the script this summer.)
Lister said that all happened because of his start in the WWF… because he doesn’t know anything about that ‘E’ stuff. The man known as Zeus and Z-Gangsta then referenced his Deebo character when mentioning a new bike, which got a pop from the crowd. Check out the promo below:
