Twitter user @wrestlevotes, who has accurately reported multiple stories in the past, is reporting that this year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view has already gone through some major changes.

@wrestlevotes reports that his source claims that Vince McMahon was set on moving away from the traditional RAW vs SmackDown concept for this year’s edition of wrestling’s fall classic. According to this same source, McMahon did not want to pursue an AJ Styles vs Roman Reigns match and therefore the concept was, ‘Out the window.’ According to @wrestlevotes, that has definitely changed, as ‘Creative went upside down,’ with Roman Reigns’ leukemia announcement.

There may still be the rumored Team Angle vs Team Corbin match; but, @wrestlevotes is told that match is still to be determined. There was a rumored Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker match reported for Survivor Series; however, @wrestlevotes reports that with the injury to Triple H that match is now in question. @wrestlevotes adds, ‘HBK is/was willing to work a match or 2 after Saudi IF all went well. I can’t be sure at this point if all went well.’ Following his Crown Jewel performance, Shawn Michaels was interviewed by the WWE and didn’t seem too keen on returning for another match, “We are going back to our regular lives. It’s a lot of fun to do, but I’m glad it’s over too.”
