Samoa Joe had been dealing with a foot injury, but he’s back on SmackDown Live. The talented grappler reappeared after AJ Styles successfully defended his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan.

Joe quickly choked out AJ Styles and was making a statement that he wants the WWE Championship when Daniel Bryan attempted to make a save. However, Bryan’s leg was already injured from the match, and Joe was able to take advantage of that same injury. After gaining the upper edge, Samoa Joe choked out Bryan as well, making him two-for-two.
It was quite the return and one thing is clear: Samoa Joe wants the WWE Championship that he believes is his.
