Kurt Angle had a stern warning for everyone who thinks that he is ‘out of his mind’ for thinking that he has an actual shot at winning the WWE World Cup at WWE Crown Jewel.
In an exclusive posted to WWE’s Youtube channel, Kurt Angle referenced the numerous times in his career that he’s gone on to achieve something amazing – winning the WWE Championship in his debut year, winning the Olympic Gold Medal with a broken neck etc. – despite being doubted.
He concluded by saying that he’s going out at WWE Crown Jewel not to prove that he has one more match left in him, but that he’s still the best in the world.
The bracket for the tournament sees Kurt Angle take on Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins take on Bobby Lashley on the RAW side of things, while Jeff Hardy faces the Miz and Rey Mysterio faces Randy Orton on the blue side.
The finals would be a RAW vs SmackDown Live affair – possibly setting the table for WWE Survivor Series.
