While Don Callis’ busy schedule at IMPACT Wrestling had his future with New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the air, it turns out that the former “Cyrus” will be back with the company. The Japanese promotion announced that Callis will be back in the booth with Kevin Kelly for Wrestle Kingdom 13, which is set to take place January 4, 2019 at the Tokyo Dome. They also said that he’ll be on “multiple upcoming events” in addition to their biggest show of the year.

Chris Jericho, who recently criticized NJPW for not using Callis recently, commented on Twitter about the decision. “Smart move boys!” wrote the current Intercontinental Champion.
