Samoa Joe was meant to wrestle AJ Styles at house shows last week, but was nowhere to be seen. In fact, he hasn’t been seen on television since his match against Jeff Hardy on October 9. It turns out there’s a good reason for his absence as the Wrestling Observer is reporting that he’s dealing with an “undisclosed injury.”
We’ve got a few more details on the Samoa Joe injury. A source told WrestleZone last week that Samoa Joe was at SmackDown 1000, but was wearing a walking boot while he was backstage. So, it appears that the Orange County native is suffering from some sort of foot injury at the moment. That’s all of the additional information we’ve got at this time, but we’ll make sure to update the article if anything else comes out about the Samoa Joe injury.
