The controversy surrounding WWE Crown Jewel continues. Earlier today WWE confirmed it that the show would indeed go on as scheduled in Saudi Arabia which brings to light some of the questions regarding the reports of discomfort that certain talent is feeling about working the show. Two of the major names who have reportedly voiced discomfort are John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to WWE for a comment and they indeed got a reply with WWE saying the following:

“As always, we maintain an open line of communication with our performers and will address each situation accordingly.”

This does indeed appear to be more of a non-answer than anything else and it will be interesting to see where both of these men land regarding their position on the show because they are too highly featured names on the card with John Cena being in the World Cup Tournament and Daniel Bryan challenging for the WWE World Championship.
