Kevin Owens made a rare Twitter appearance to reveal that he indeed underwent a double knee surgery this morning. Owens has been off WWE television since October 8th following a story line attack from Bobby Lashley:

As reported earlier, the Bobby Lashley attack was likely a reason to write Owens off of television so he could get the surgery done. Word is unknown of the timeframe for Owens’ return, but the original estimate by Dave Meltzer was that Owens could be out from 4-8 months, depending on the severity of the injury.
