Several WWE superstars are attending the ACE Comic Con in Chicago today, and among them is WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins. He was asked about what opponent he would like to face off against that isn’t currently signed, and he had an answer that will make many fans happy.
“I would like to face Kenny Omega,” said Rollins with playful authority. “I am the best wrestler in the world, and would like to prove that.” The crowd loved the answer and cheered in response.
Omega is of course the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion and the face of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s western expansion at the moment. The match would be a dream match come true for fans if it ever does happen in the future. Hopefully, whether in WWE or outside of it, we’ll get the chance to see it one day!
