Shawn Michaels is undoubtedly one of the greatest in-ring performers of all-time. Ever since he confronted The Undertaker a few weeks back on Monday Night Raw, rumors have been running rampant about HBK’s return to action.
According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shawn Michaels is reportedly confirmed to be coming out of retirement to team with Triple H against the Undertaker and Kane at the next Saudi Arabian spectacular WWE Crown Jewel. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez speculated with the ‘bought show’ economics of WWE’s Saudi Arabian deal, Michaels could be making between “$1- 2 million” for this match.
Additionally, it’s being reported the WWE tried to get Shawn to wrestle this past April at The Greatest Royal Rumble. It’s becoming common knowledge that these Saudi Arabian shows are very lucrative for the WWE and all of the star power likely goes a long way in furthering these relationships. While these are just reports, it will be interesting to see where the Heartbreak Kid lands between now and November 2nd.
