#5.) Winning the Money In The Bank briefcase – 2010
The Miz was mostly a midcarder for a large part of his career and being thrust into the MITB match was a huge game changer in more ways than one. He would be victorious and earn the Money In The Bank contract, cashing in about five months later to become WWE Champion.
This victory was significant because it pushed him to the main event and showed a glimpse of what he could do on that level. Interestingly enough, while he was a worthy WWE Champion, he was yet to truly mature as a performer who should be main eventing week in and week out. But we’ll get back to that.
