#3.) Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns – Money In The Bank 2016
Seth Rollins had returned from a long injury spell in May 2016 and instantly set his sights on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Given that he had never lost the title in 2015, he was granted an immediate rematch at Money In The Bank.
Apart from the fact that the interest for Seth Rollins was at an all-time high since his return, his chemistry with Roman Reigns was incredible and the history between the two made for a great story. The match had a great “big fight feel” and was the perfect main event for MITB. It was made all the sweeter when Seth Rollins pinned Roman Reigns to give him his first clean singles loss in WWE and subsequently regain the WWE Championship.
It wouldn’t be a happy night for Seth Rollins, however, as Dean Ambrose would cash in the MITB contract that he had won earlier that night to become WWE Champion.
