The feud between AJ Styles and Bully Ray was more or less a feud between the factions Fortune (Styles) and Immortal (Bully Ray). The feud was one of the best things going in TNA at the time and Bully Ray was really finding his feet as a heel. This feud only served to enhance Bully Ray’s status as a heel and it was decided to settle the match in a Last Man Standing contest.
Bully Ray really over-delivered on expectations and Styles made him look like a million bucks. Ultimately, Bully Ray ended up winning and it further cemented his status as a top heel in the company. He would have bigger and better things waiting for him.
