#4.) Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd’s case is perhaps the most tragic one on this list. There were few people on the roster who worked harder than Tyson Kidd did and even when he wasn’t in the spotlight, he was actively trying to make it big and was always underrated. The tragedy struck in a dark match on SmackDown in June 2015 when a botched Muscle Buster by Samoa Joe led to him getting a career-ending spinal cord injury.

He belonged to the small percentage of people who survived the devastating injury and WWE did a great job in taking care of him and made sure that even if he couldn’t do what he loved the most, he’d still be involved in it in some form.

Thus, he took the role of a backstage agent and has been on the road with WWE since.
