#3.) Rey Mysterio – 2006

Rey Mysterio has always been one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE, because time and again, he’s proven that it’s not the size that matters, but the heart. This led him to win multiple accolades, with one of his biggest ever being the Royal Rumble match in 2006. He entered at number two and would go on to set the record for lasting the longest in the Rumble match, beating Chirs Benoit‘s record two years prior.

It was one of the best performances that you’ll ever see, as Mysterio had to go through some of the most elite competition in the company to secure his ticket to WrestleMania. He did so, dedicating his win to Eddie Guerrero (who had just passed away a couple of months prior). It was one of the most feel-good moments in Royal Rumble history, and his road to WrestleMania would lead to glory.
