Starrcade in many ways was the Jim Crockett Promotions’ and WCW equivalent of WrestleMania. Beginning in 1983, it came to define JCP, NWA, and WCW. Through the years, we’ve seen some of the most iconic stars in wrestling history be a part of the show and have career-defining performances.

In our opinion, no performer defines Starrcade more than The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Although he never got the moniker, he may as well have been called “Mr. Starrcade”. He main evented the PPV for the first eight times until 1991 when he left to join WWE. But this list isn’t just about him.
