Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “The Fire of Many Feuds Lit on RAW”

Universal Championship Face-Off

Out comes the new Universal Champion. He says the title is not his, but it is the fans who made this possible. Goldberg says he is going to share something that he never thought he would make public. The crowd chants CM Punk and out comes Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. Brock and Goldberg go face-to-face in the ring while Heyman talks about WrestleMania. He says he does not make predictions, but make spoilers. He says Brock Lesnar is going to win the title and make Goldberg his b**ch. Goldberg turns his head to Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar hits an F-5.

Another great segment on WWE RAW where a championship match gets the spotlight. For the past five months, we have seen ZERO offense from Brock Lesnar. That needed to change immediately and it did tonight. Brock used what Goldberg did to him, taking his eye off of him for a mere second, to capitalize and take down the champion. Goldberg also sold the move well and seemed to struggle to get up. (which is what you want him to do) Tonight was more about the revenge of Brock Lesnar and building him into a threat to defeat the untouchable Goldberg.

What To Do With The WWE RAW Tag Team Championships

Enzo and Big Cass had another shot at the RAW Tag Team Championships on WWE RAW. With Enzo and Cass rolling in the match from an offensive standpoint, it was time to see if they would actually dethrone Gallows and Anderson. Enzo hit a dive to the outside and then jumped around. He would end up bumping into Cesaro and spilling his coffee all over his suit. This would cause a disqualification and we would see Mick Foley backstage make a tag team match between the two challenging teams next week.

I liked this idea to prolong the contenders for another week. With Tag Team Championship feuds, you can expect little development. You will get more matches and possibly more entertaining WWE RAW events before WrestleMania, but that is pretty much it. What should they do? Make next week either a double count-out or disqualification from the champions, which backfires and gives us a Triple Threat Match for the RAW Tag Team Championships in Orlando. All three teams, for differing reasons, deserve that match. Cesaro and Sheamus can make a really good match into a great one.
