A British Point of View: A Wyatt Problem

wwe rawThis past week we saw a fantastic encounter between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in the Hell in a Cell. I was fortunate enough to be invited as a guest on ‘The Pay Per Viewists’ for a review on Hell in a Cell 2015 as well as my own review on IWC Radio. I think it’s safe to say that everyone involved in both of these shows loved the main event. Post match thoughts is a different matter though, as the Wyatt family ambushed and took out The Undertaker. The pattern continued when Kane was their second victim the following evening.

I find it strange that WWE have put Bray Wyatt in this position again. Leading into WrestleMania 31, people thought that WWE may pass the torch to Bray Wyatt by defeating The Undertaker. This didn’t happen and now he’s picking a fight with the Deadman again. Will things be different this time around? I have my doubts.

Bray Wyatt is being booked like every other heel when his character should be booked extraordinarily. Bray Wyatt is a character like no other on the roster and whilst he’s young and has time to turn things round, he’s never really come out on top of any of his feuds (apart from when he faced Daniel Bryan – go figure). He’s looked good against most but when he’s faced John Cena, Undertaker or Roman Reigns, he’s ultimately done the job. I completely understand why but I also think that Wyatt shouldn’t be used in this fashion.
