In NXT, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Becky Lynch were set to go head on for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Rival. The rivalry was intense and it became very clear that the four women were the four leading women of the NXT Women’s Division and also the future of the WWE Women’s division.
The feud resulted in an outstanding bout that saw Banks pin Charlotte to win the NXT Women’s Championship. The crowd was hot for Sasha and the impact that the rivalry had will only be truly known years later.
