WWE Stomping Grounds turned out to be a fantastic pay-per-view as a whole. There were little to no expectations heading into the PPV and it was understandable why. On paper, there was really nothing on the card that stood out and nothing that made fans excited about the PPV.
However, what very few said and very few believed was the fact that when expectations are low, WWE usually comes in with all guns blazing. Perhaps the best example of that was WrestleMania 31 – a PPV that had very little hype for a WrestleMania and ended up being considered one of the all-time great WrestleManias.
While this PPV was obviously not on the same level, it was still a pleasant surprise, particularly after the relatively lackluster Saudi Arabia show WWE Super ShowDown. Here is what WWE did right at WWE Stomping Grounds 2019!
