#5.) Nothing was being done with Ryder & Hawkins
Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins would have been great underdog tag team champions if there was any actual build or story. Instead, they got a RAW Tag Team title match with no build whatsoever and on the pre-show, Curt Hawkins’ losing streak was snapped. They became RAW Tag Team Champions, but for two months, nothing was done with them.
In fact, it got to the point where fans even forgot that there were tag team titles on RAW. As much as fans love Ryder & Hawkins, they weren’t exactly setting the world on fire as champions (nor were they given the opportunity to do so). WWE likely felt a need for change and thus took the titles off the underdogs and put it on the Top Guys.
