For those who aren’t aware – Awesome Kong is one of the most dominant female stars in wrestling history. She may not have had much luck during her time with WWE, but at TNA/Impact Wrestling, she’s nothing short of a legend. Her presence adds a whole new layer of intensity to wherever shes’ at.
The Women’s match was scheduled to be a triple threat, but Brandi Rhodes felt as though something was “missing”. She then revealed Awesome Kong and the reaction she got was deafening. She seems to be a part of the AEW roster now and even though she didn’t win the match, the acquisition of Awesome Kong will prove to be huge for AEW’s Women’s division.
