#5.) vs The Big Show – Hell In A Cell 2012

Sheamus was on a strong six-month run as World Heavyweight Champion on SmackDown. Not many would expect it, but The Big Show would end up becoming one of his most formidable opponents, and when they clashed at Hell In A Cell, they had a match that had no right to be as good as it did.

The two had a methodical yet well-structured match that saw Sheamus as the underdog for the first time in his world title run. It was built up as a battle of the finishers: The Brogue Kick vs The KO Punch. While it took the crowd some time to get into it, once Sheamus started to get the offense in, things changed. The Celtic Warrior wound up kicking out of the KO punch, being the first-ever person to do so. Unfortunately for him, he would be smacked with another blow, losing his World Heavyweight title to the World’s largest athlete.
