Doctor Who Star Noel Clarke Hit With 6 Sexual Offense Charges

British actor Noel Clarke has been charged with multiple sexual offenses by the UK police. The actor is best known for playing Mickey Smith in Doctor Who and writing and starring in the teen crime drama film Kidulthood.

According to the BBC, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorized the Metropolitan Police on Wednesday to charge Clarke after detectives submitted a series of evidence. The actor has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, three charges of voyeurism and one charge of exposure. The offences, related to five women, allegedly took place between 2007 and 2016.

The official statement released by CPS reads: “Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring this case to court and that it is in the public interest to do so.”

Additionally, Det Supt Mike Cagney, who is leading the investigation, said, “The women connected to these charges continue to receive support from specially trained officers.”

Clarke is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21 at 10:00 BST.

Noel Clarke’s acting career stalled after 2021 allegations

Noel Clarke’s recent arrest comes after he lost his libel lawsuit against The Guardian after the outlet reported the allegations of sexual misconduct against the actor, brought forward by more than 20 women.

Clarke was previously arrested in February 2026, on suspicion of attempted rape, exposure, and sexual assault by touching, which allegedly had taken place in 2007. He was also arrested in September 2025 at his family home in London and had his property searched.

Since the 2021 allegations, Clarke’s career has largely come to a halt. His last feature film appearances were in the 2021 crime drama Twist and the action thriller SAS: Red Notice. The last television show he starred in was the British police procedural series Viewpoint.

His credits also include Star Trek Into Darkness, 4.3.2.1., Adulthood, Bulletproof, The Adventures of Paddington, and more.
