Marshals Season 2 has released its official trailer, offering a glimpse into what the new episodes have in store. Luke Grimes returns as Kayce Dutton, who will face another dangerous chapter this season.
The Marshals Season 2 premieres on Sunday, October 4, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. It is a neo-Western police procedural series that serves as a spin-off and sequel to Yellowstone. Grimes reprises his role as the youngest Dutton sibling, joining a specialized group of U.S. Marshals tasked with protecting Montana.

What does Marshals’ trailer show?
The Season 2 trailer opens with a dramatic shot of Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton on horseback admiring the stunning Montana landscape. He delivers the chilling line, “The Dutton family legacy is never about land. It’s about always having to fight. Seems like no matter where I live, someone’s willing to kill for it.”
The preview also confirms that Kayce has reunited with his son, Tate, after the major cliffhanger of the Season 1 finale. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Tom Weaver was involved in the attack on Kayce’s teammates, Cal and Belle.
The trailer features a series of thrilling vignettes, teasing some nail-biting action sequences from the show. Needless to say, Kayce has some deadly challenges to overcome this season.
The debut episode of Marshals’ sophomore season is titled “All Hat No Cattle.” The official description of the episode reads, “When Kayce realizes Tate has been taken hostage, he goes rogue in a desperate race to save his son as the Marshals uncover a powerful criminal operation tied to the East Camp land grab. A violent showdown ensues, putting everything Kayce cares about at risk.”
