A Supergirl star, Maura Higgins, and more are set to feature on a surprising TV show. The fresh ensemble will join some of the older cast members for Season 35 of the show. The upcoming installment is slated to premiere this September.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Good Morning America revealed that Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson, and Guillermo Rodriguez will be part of Dancing With the Stars Season 35.
The ensemble disclosure revealed that Supergirl star Jenna Dewan will be part of the new season. They will feature on the TV show with 12 other participants and their assigned professional dance partners. In total, it will have 16 couples competing against each other.
Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will return to host Season 35. Meanwhile, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will return as judges. Dancing With the Stars’ new season will have a double premiere on September 15 and 16, 2026. It will premiere on ABC and Disney+ and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
Returning favorites and new partnerships reshape the pro dancer lineup
Dancing With the Stars Season 35 will feature returning favorites alongside new partnerships. Among the returning favorites is Sharna Burgess, who will compete with her partner, Tyler Cameron, after last competing in 2021. Meanwhile, Jenna Dewan is paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, while Ciara Miller will dance with Brandon Armstrong.
Maura Higgins is paired with Mark Ballas, who will return to the dance floor after competing in the show for 20 seasons. Meanwhile, Witney Carson is set to return to the show while pregnant and is paired with Guillermo Rodriguez. Hailey Bills is set with Sarah Jane Nader, and the duo will be the show’s second same-sex couple and the third same-sex celeb-pro duo ever.
The ensemble for the new season also includes Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik, Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart, Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman, Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa, and Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold.
