What do we see in The Gentlemen Season 2 trailer?
The trailer focuses heavily on Eddie’s growth in the business. Beyond gaining momentum in the criminal underworld, Eddie is also ascending within the British establishment. During this period, the character comes into contact with an aristocrat, who is portrayed by Hugh Bonneville, who will be the latest addition to the show this season.
The trailer does not mask the highly ambitious nature of Eddie. Speaking to Geoff, the character could be heard saying, “Four hundred years ago, this estate spread out as far as the eye could see. I want it all back.”
Such a level of ambition takes further flight following billionaire Stanley Johnston urging Eddie to “forge” his own path as he was seemingly “destined to rule.”
The Season 2 cast features returning and new faces, including Giancarlo Esposito, Joely Richardson, Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, Vinnie Jones, Michael Vu, Pearce Quigley, Ruby Sear, Benjamin Clementine, Maya Jama, Chris Eubank Jr., Benedetta Porcaroli, Tyler Conti, and Amra Mallassi.
According to reports from Variety, The Gentlemen has already been renewed by Netflix for a third season ahead of its Season 2 premiere.
