The latest season of Ted Lasso is bringing forth a secret real-life twist for all its fans. Reports say a cast member’s family is joining the drama show soon.
According to updates from TV Insider, Ted Lasso season 4 will be welcoming Cristo Fernandez’s sister, Paloma Cinco. In the Apple TV show, Fernandez plays the role of Dani Rojas. His ability to embrace the character soon made Rojas one of the most beloved characters in the series. Back in season 1, Rojas started his journey with the A.F.C Richmond and immediately impressed Ted, played by Jason Sudeikis.
With subsequent seasons, Rojas’ character gained maturity and also evolved onscreen. In a recent turn of events, the character displayed significant football skills that led to him signing a contract with the USL Championship team, El Paso Locomotive. Now, with Fernandez playing such an intriguing role, fans are curious to know which character his sister will play.
What we know about Paloma Cinco’s mystery role in Ted Lasso Season 4
There has been no official statement about the exact role Paloma Cinco would be playing. However, the actor did appear for a short while in the recently released official trailer. From the looks of it, she appears to be attempting to get into A.F.C Richmond’s women’s team.
Cinco also has a brief scene with the coaches where she can be heard saying, “No, life is so much more than football.” This was a reply to Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt, who said, “But football is life.”
Cinco also confirmed herself in the upcoming Ted Lasso season via an Instagram post. The actor wrote, “To the best crew I could ask for. Thank you for sharing this unforgettable night with me. Your love, laughter, and support mean more than you know. So grateful we got to celebrate together!”
Currently, there is no update on whether the men’s team of Richmond will feature in season 4. Ted Lasso season 4 will begin streaming on Apple TV from August 5, 2026.
