Nicolle Wallace has recently mocked Donald Trump following his reaction at the Oval Office. Trump lashed out at Wallace’s MS NOW colleague, Jake Traylor.
Traylor asked POTUS whether he was reconsidering Jeanine Pirro’s position as the interim US attorney. Immediately after the question, Trump reacted, saying, “You’re fake news. Don’t ever talk to me again! You’re fake. You’re one of the worst in the business.”
For context, Pirro is currently garnering headlines after dropping the charges against former Olympian David Hearn. The former slalom canoeist was accused of allegedly damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which was recently renovated.
Shedding light on the matter, Wallace noted, “I think we touched a nerve there. Traylor [was] pressing about the simple fact pattern from Donald Trump … Trump’s buddy Jeanine Pirro dropping the charges of vandalism her office had filed against former Olympian David Hearn less than one month ago.”

Last year, Jeanine Pirro was nominated by the President for the position of interim US attorney for the District of Columbia. The Senate confirmed Pirro in August. As she dropped the vandalism charges against Hearn, Trump did not look too happy with the decision.
The President stated per The Guardian, “Frankly, I think she choked because the judge was really vicious. Instead of going after the people that did it, the judge went after her and went after her department, and I guess she choked. I was disappointed with Jeanine Pirro, really disappointed with Jeanine Pirro. She folded like an umbrella.”
Following the incident, there have also been reports about Trump considering removing Pirro from her current post. And his recent reaction, followed by Wallace’s comments, has further put Pirro in the spotlight. Hearn was among the seven who were charged with vandalism attempts to the reflecting pool. If proven guilty, the Olympian would have faced a $1000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
