Miley Cyrus has made her dream come true by entering the Mattel World. This happened unexpectedly after the Hannah Montana singer received her official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
How did Miley Cyrus join the Mattel world?
Miley Cyrus just had a “full circle” moment with the release of a Barbie doll inspired by her. In an Instagram post, she shared her collection of Barbie dolls with a brand new “Miley Barbie” added to it.
In the official press release, Cyrus says, “I’m obsessed. Love her! All the details were so thoughtful and so important. Every little piece of this design was a dream, down to the shape of the shoe, the look, the leather jacket, the belt, the hair dimension, the sunglasses.”
She also made sure the doll came with a microphone, an important detail to her, as it represents not only the music but also having a voice. The new doll is inspired by her look in the 2025 music video, Golden Burning Sun.
According to Billboard, she worked alongside the designers to create a vision for the doll. She shared, “We spent so much time really digging into the details. That’s something that wasn’t just important to me in designing the Barbie, but it’s also very important to my own creativity and the way that I represent myself.”
Cyrus was honored with the 2,845th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this year. During this ceremony, the Walk of Fame producer, Ana Martinez, stated, “Generations of young girls have grown up watching her evolve, finding inspiration in her journey and fearless creativity.” Mattel shared this sentiment when creating the doll as well. According to them, it “celebrates the transformative sound and cultural footprint she has made as a musician, actress and advocate for self-expression.”
In the official Instagram post, the Younger You singer wants fans to be reminded that she is rooting for them to chase their dreams whenever they hold the doll.
