Cartoon Network‘s newest animated show has been added to HBO Max. The recently released series is a revival of a beloved sitcom that originally ran for eight seasons from 2010 to 2017.
What Cartoon Network TV show’s revival is now on HBO Max?
Beginning today, the first ten episodes of Regular Show: The Lost Tapes, Season 1A, are available to stream on HBO Max. At the moment, there is still no premiere date for the remaining episodes of the revival’s first season. The new show features the voices of JG Quintel, William Salyers, Sam Marin, Mark Hamill, Minty Lewis, Janie Haddad Tompkins, and more.
“The revival centers on Mordecai and Rigby, best friends who work and live at a local park. Somehow, their mundane jobs always descend into surreal chaos, much to the annoyance of their boss and coworkers. From crashing a friend’s luau to searching for the sweetest spot to take a nap, avoiding work quickly spirals into thwarting surreal disasters… in the most hilarious and entertaining of ways,” reads the official synopsis.
Regular Show: The Lost Tapes was created by Quintel, who is also executive producing alongside Sean Szeles and Sam Register. The creative team consists of Ryan Slater as producer, Toby Jones as supervising director, and Paula Spence as supervising art director. It is a production by Cartoon Network Studios.
The original sitcom was one of Cartoon Network’s top-performing shows. It has also been performing very well on HBO Max, making it one of its most popular kids’ shows worldwide. During its decade-long run, it won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program.
