Martha Stewart is reportedly “furious” about public backlash over her Halloween costume. According to a source, she is “absolutely seething” over the fallout, despite claiming regret in public. Martha Stewart is furious her Halloween moment has turned into a ‘public embarrassment,’ per source

Martha Stewart is allegedly “livid” that her homelessness-themed Halloween costume sparked controversy. She was slammed for seemingly mocking homeless people with her outfit and caption, which promoted her QVC candles. Although she released a statement expressing her regret, sources told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that the TV personality is seemingly “furious.”

“She’s absolutely seething that this has turned into such a public embarrassment,” an insider said. According to them, Stewart is allegedly blaming her team for not stopping her from posting the photo. She seemed upset that she has to “take all the heat.” Even after her public apology and deleting the post, netizens have been brutally criticizing her.

While she said sorry in her public statement, a source claimed that Stewart was “not sorry she did it.” They added, “There’s a big difference. She wants everyone to understand her intentions, but she’s not acknowledging why the photograph was so offensive in the first place.” The outlet also noted that people around her claimed she has put the blame on her team. According to Stewart, her staff should not have let her post it.

However, another insider highlighted that Stewart’s team couldn’t make any decision without her approval. When things didn’t go her way, the lifestyle guru has allegedly become “furious” and has been blaming her team. One informant added, “This was her decision. Her team cannot take the fall for something she personally approved.”
