Paramount+ has announced the release date for Kevin Hart‘s animated sitcom. The show returns a year after Season 1’s debut in 2025.
Lil Kev Season 2 premieres Wednesday, December 9, exclusively on Paramount+. All 10 episodes will be released simultaneously. Created by Matthew Claybrooks and Michael Price, the show is an adult animated comedy inspired by Kevin Hart’s childhood in 1990s Philadelphia.
According to the official synopsis, “Set in 1993 North Philadelphia, Lil Kev follows twelve-year-old Kev (Hart) as his enormous ambition and wild imagination fuel one scheme after another. Raised by his fiercely protective mother Nancy (Wanda Sykes), he navigates the chaos created by his recovering father Henry (Gerald “Slink” Johnson), cynical older brother Robert (Jamar Malachi Neighbors), and ex-con uncle Richard Jr. (Deon Cole). Through schoolyard rivalries, neighborhood hustles, and family setbacks, Kev turns every disaster into a story.”

The returning cast also includes Deon Cole, Jamar Malachi Neighbors, Gerald “Slink” Johnson, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Nicole Aimee Schreiber, Cree Summer, Mo Collins, Loretta Devine, Affion Crockett, Clayton Thomas, Justin Hires, Wé Ani, and Rick Ingraham.
