Tom Welling is making light of his nude photo moment with Haley Baylee as his social media manager. The witty comeback follows shortly after he caught fans off guard by unintentionally posting the NSFW picture. Now, the “Draft Day” star is proving that the best way to handle an accidental viral moment is to own it with humor.
Haley Baylee shows Tom Welling’s social media manager’s potential POV
Tom Welling’s unintended nude share sparked playful responses from his “Smallville” castmate Michael Rosenbaum as well as his fans.
The viral photo, featuring the New York City skyline from Welling’s hotel room, was shared to his Instagram Stories with the caption “Hello NYCC.” He was in town with the “Smallville” cast for the show’s 25th anniversary reunion at New York Comic Con.
Reacting to the blunder, Rosenbaum shared a humorous Instagram Story where he mimicked Welling’s hotel window shot. In the image, he stood by the glass holding a sign that said “Perverts” over himself. He captioned it, “Just looking after my boy.”
Jumping on the bandwagon, Tom Welling broke his silence on the matter with a funny retort. Reacting to a video by Trevor Larcom that joked about the viral incident, the “Lucifer” actor wrote, “Came for the sights,” as reported by Entertainment Tonight.
Now, the Superman portrayer has teamed up with internet personality Haley Baylee. In an Instagram video posted today, October 15, the duo share a funny take on “pov: Tom Welling hires you as his new social media manager.”
Captioned “the reflection Tom,” the video shows the actor approaching Baylee to get approval on his social media posts. Growing increasingly frustrated, she keeps spotting his nude reflection in each one.
Fans are loving the self-aware humor, with reactions pouring in across the comments and the post garnering 193k likes at the time of writing. A follower wrote, “I love how much he’s reflecting on what happened.”
Another commented, “Love how he’s embracing it instead of running away from it. True Chad.” An admirer echoed, “That’s awesome!!! Great way to laugh at the situation!!! You’re the man @tomwelling.” A hype comment read, “That’s my Superman.”
