Agnez Mo is set to receive her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood later this month. The famed wax museum announced the news on Wednesday (October 14) through its social media channels. The Indonesian singer-actress, 40, reshared the post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “cats out of the bag.”
Madame Tussauds confirmed the wax figure reveal will take place sometime in October 2026. The museum’s Instagram post received nearly 20,000 likes and 1,700 comments within hours. Fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages and fire emojis.
However, this will not mark Agnez Mo’s first appearance inside a Madame Tussauds museum. In fact, Madame Tussauds Singapore unveiled her wax figure on October 6, 2022. Notably, that honor made her the first Indonesian celebrity to join the attraction’s walk of fame.
At the time of the Singapore unveiling, Agnez Mo expressed her gratitude for the recognition. “I am really honoured to be invited to have my own figure, as Madame Tussauds is such an iconic place to be at,” she said. Furthermore, she added that the figure gives people worldwide a chance to learn about her story. “It is about a girl who has a dream, and who has the tenacity to make it happen,” she explained.
Additionally, the singer reflected on her broader artistic mission during the 2022 ceremony. “My art and my purpose in life is not about fame, but it’s about creating a legacy,” she stated. Meanwhile, her Singapore wax figure sitting took place back in 2019 and lasted four hours.
Beyond her wax figures, Agnez Mo began her singing career at just three years old at her local church. She has since become the most awarded artist in Indonesian history with over 190 accolades. Her awards include 18 Anugerah Musik Indonesia honors and two Mnet Asian Music Awards.
