Why There’s No Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 11 This Week

Viewers are curious to know why there is no Ted Lasso Season 4 Episode 11 premiering on Apple TV+ this week. The sports comedy series follows a college football coach who is recruited to coach an English soccer team despite having no experience in the sport.

He is hired by the team’s owner, a woman who wants to get back at her ex-husband by destroying his team. However, the coach eventually wins everyone’s hearts and steers the team in a positive direction. As a new episode dropped last Tuesday, many want to know the reason behind its absence this week.

Why Ted Lasso Season 4 isn’t releasing a new episode this week

Ted Lasso Season 4 had only 10 episodes, with the finale having premiered on October 6. The last episode, titled “Being Alive,” featured all major changes taking place all at once.

There has been no official confirmation of a potential Ted Lasso Season 5. Typically, makers’ decision to renew a series depends on multiple factors such as financial viability, viewership, ratings, audience reception, and several other factors.

If a series manages to meet all the desired expectations, then a renewal is likely. In Ted Lasso’s case, the series has been positively received by the audience, and the latest installment also garnered a strong viewership. So, there are chances that another season might be in store.

In a conversation with Deadline, Brendan Hunt shared some details about Season 5. He revealed that the Season 5 writers’ room hasn’t been set. He continued, “Yeah. As happened for Season 2, they can greenlight a room before they greenlight a season if they want, but neither has happened.”

Hunt added that he still has no idea on whether they might return and in which direction the character stories could be headed then. “But yeah, they’re both really busy. So yeah, the wiggle room,” he said, referring to Roy and Keeley storylines.
