A new leak suggests Man of Tomorrow will reach well beyond Earth, with two more characters allegedly taking on cosmic roles alongside the film’s leads. Their identities remain hidden for now, and the claim comes from an unconfirmed source.

Man of Tomorrow rumored to have two teams
The tipster is X scooper @JamesMackwl. He first said he had seen script details and posted, “I received a bunch of script details for Man of Tomorrow lmaohshshs, they’re making an event movie without an established Justice League in the universe.”
His newest post adds more: “In Man of Tomorrow, two teams are formed, and four characters have roles in space, superman and Lex are the protagonists, but I won’t reveal the other two, meanwhile, other heroes will have supporting roles on Earth, something similar was reported by @ResonantJustice.”
That description points to a story with two separate settings. Superman and Lex Luthor anchor the space-bound group, joined by two characters nobody has named. The remaining heroes reportedly stay home and fill smaller parts on Earth.
The scooper dropped no hints about who holds the two hidden spots, and neither DC Studios nor the filmmakers have commented on any of it. His mention of a missing Justice League also stands out. According to him, the film will play out without an established team of that kind in this universe.
James Gunn writes and directs Man of Tomorrow, and cinemas will get it on July 9, 2027. David Corenswet plays Superman and Nicholas Hoult plays Lex Luthor. Several supporting players from the previous Superman film are also coming back, including Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific. Nothing confirms whether any of them land in the space group or the Earth group.
Until DC Studios shares real details, fans should treat the two-team story as a rumor. If the claim holds up, the identities of those two cosmic characters will become one of the film’s biggest talking points.
