Carmen Electra posts photos reminding fans of her Scary Movie role
Carmen Electra is revisiting her Scary Movie roots with a new Instagram photoshoot featuring a man dressed as Ghostface. The actress shared several pictures alongside the iconic masked figure, using her caption to recall a memorable moment from the 2000 horror-comedy.
In the photos, Electra sports a T-shirt paired with low-rise, unbuttoned jeans and a glamorous hairstyle. Her companion wears the iconic Ghostface mask, with his tattooed arm on display. One picture shows Electra holding a knife, while another captures the masked figure standing beside her with an arm around her. The photoshoot is a separate Instagram creation, not footage or promotional imagery from the Scary Movie films.
Electra’s caption appears to directly reference the original movie. “I remember the first time we met… It was so cold and rainy. You called me on the phone to ask me what my favorite scary movie was. It was almost like a scary movie,” she wrote.
The nostalgic post comes after Electra returned to the franchise in Scary Movie 6, playing a bartender in the opening scene. She first appeared in the series in the original Scary Movie in 2000 before returning for Scary Movie 4 in 2006, where she portrayed a different character.
Speaking to PEOPLE about her latest appearance, Electra shared her excitement about rejoining the franchise. “I was just over the moon to get that call to be in this one again,” she said. She also praised her experience working with the Wayans.
