Sources are claiming that Prince Harry‘s name keeps surfacing in connection with Charles Spencer‘s new book. Princess Diana’s brother launched his latest memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, last month on September 22. Ever since, the book has remained engulfed in controversy due to its allegations against King Charles and the royal family.
Royal circle reportedly suspects Prince Harry was involved in Charles Spencer’s Diana memoir
Sources close to the Palace reportedly believe that Prince Harry helped shape Charles Spencer‘s memoir about Princess Diana and quietly fueled the uproar around the explosive book.
The timing is notable, as rumors are circulating amid his ongoing dispute over security for Harry’s family in the UK. Backing the couple, Spencer has publicly insisted that the Sussex pair needs proper security. He even likened their ordeal to the relentless pressure his late sister was under before she died in Paris in 1997.
Speaking exclusively to RadarOnline.com, a royal source claimed, “There is inevitably suspicion about Harry’s influence because of the timing, his closeness to Charles, and the fact that security is once again such an important issue for him.” The source further claims that Charles discussing Diana’s experiences while also insisting that Harry and Meghan require protection could ultimately bolster Harry’s standing in the eyes of the public.
They noted, “Nobody is suggesting Harry wrote the book. Charles has been very clear that this is his account. But within royal circles, there are questions about whether conversations between uncle and nephew have helped shape the wider argument now surrounding it.”
Princess Diana’s youngest son shares a close bond with his uncle, Charles Spencer. This summer, he visited the family’s Althorp estate with Meghan Markle and their two children. That said, the Earl continues to stress that his nephew has had no involvement whatsoever in his memoir. He reportedly notified relatives, including Princes Harry and William, just ahead of the book’s release.
Previously, Prince Harry had also leveled a series of damning accusations against the royal family in his own 2023 memoir, “Spare.” Among them is an alleged physical altercation with Prince William at Nottingham Cottage in 2019.
