Meghan Markle’s team has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding her finances, specifically pushing back against claims about declining traffic and revenue for her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The clarification comes amid a recent report alleging that Prince Harry has taken charge of the family’s financial responsibilities following their return to the UK.

A spokesperson for As Ever has addressed the recent decline in the brand’s website traffic, offering an explanation for the fluctuations in consumer engagement. They said, “I think this is simply the normal ebb and flow of a consumer brand. Product drops and PR create predictable spikes in engagement, so I wouldn’t read too much into a single period.”
The statement follows a recent Newsweek analysis of website traffic data, which showed that engagement surged when the Sussexes returned to the UK. However, the brand’s traffic reportedly began declining toward the end of September, even before the festive season got underway.
The update also comes amid a report from Closer claiming that Harry and Markle have divided their responsibilities following their move to the UK. According to the source, Harry has agreed to take charge of the family’s finances, while Markle focuses on raising their children and managing her lifestyle brand.
The source further suggested that the couple are not looking to place undue pressure on one another but are instead splitting their responsibilities to keep things running smoothly. “Her view is that they should divide and conquer and Harry agrees, but it does mean a whole lot more pressure on his shoulders and absolutely zero time to himself because the moment he’s free from work he’s got to rush home to give Meghan a break from parenting duties,” they continued.
The source also claimed that Harry would have to put in considerable effort to justify his decision to relocate.
