Steve Kazee, Jenna Dewan’s fiancé, recently hit back at fans over their comments regarding the actress’ chemistry with her DWTS partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
A video of Dewan and Chmerkovskiy from an episode has been circulating online, with many users posting it to their accounts and questioning how close the duo is. Kazee recently commented on one Instagram user’s post about the topic and asked the fans to make up their minds.
He wrote, “They don’t have chemistry. They have too much chemistry. They have chemistry in the wrong place. Make up your minds.” Kazee stated that the rumors do not bother him and Chmerkovskiy’s wife, Jenna Johnson. He mocked the trolls by adding, “Y’all really got too much time on your hands. Stay hatin.” He further joked in another comment that the haters should “put some respect” in Dewan’s name and pronounce it correctly.
Dewan announced her engagement to Kazee in February 2020 through an Instagram post. In the caption, she wrote, “A lifetime to love and grow with you…you have my heart.” The couple welcomed their first child together soon after their engagement in 2020. Their second child was born in 2024.
Dewan was previously married to “Deadpool & Wolverine” actor Channing Tatum and had their daughter, Everly, in 2013. In a 2018 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Dewan shared her co-parenting experience with Tatum and said they are getting used to the process. Dewan added that her and Tatum’s main focus is to “be the best parents to Everly. We support each other.”
