Rihanna may have just given fans her clearest hint yet about the staggering amount of unreleased music sitting in her vault. During a livestream, the Fenty Beauty founder used some playful product math that appeared to point to at least 170 songs.
Her tease comes more than a decade after the release of “ANTI,” as anticipation for new music continues to grow. It also follows A$AP Rocky’s revelation in August that Rihanna was back in the studio and “cooking” up new material.

According to a Billboard report, Rihanna recently answered a fan’s question about her unreleased music during a Fenty Beauty livestream promoting her latest products. The fan asked how many unreleased songs she currently had stored away.
Rihanna replied, “If there are 10 products in a vault, then I have at least 17 vaults.” That calculation comes to 170 songs, although the singer did not explicitly confirm that she had 170 completed tracks. Still, her use of the word “at least” suggested that her music vault could contain even more material.
Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky had already offered fans a major update on Rihanna’s long-awaited album in August. “Yo, she in the studio right now,” he told Jason Lee. Rocky continued, “Yeah, I said it. Sorry, babe.”
He then added, “Like, bro, she working. She cooking, no funny sh–.” The rapper later joked, “Damn, I’mma get in trouble for this.” Despite the update, Rihanna has yet to announce a release date or tracklist for the album. Her last studio album, “ANTI,” was released in 2016 and spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
For context, Rihanna’s most recent release was “Friend of Mine,” which appeared on the 2025 “Smurfs” soundtrack. She also returned to the stage in July for Jay-Z’s Extra Innings show at Yankee Stadium, where she performed “Run This Town” and “B*tch Better Have My Money.” However, neither appearance resulted in a formal announcement about her next album.
Earlier this year, Rihanna also revealed that she had finally “cracked the code” on her long-awaited project. Now, her playful Fenty Beauty response appears to have given fans another glimpse into just how much music she may have recorded while they continue waiting for the finished album.
