Prince Harry is reportedly planning a new TV film to mark the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s passing. Reports reveal that the Duke of Sussex wants his wife, Meghan Markle, to play a central role in the project. Rather than making a brief appearance, Meghan will reportedly serve as the primary narrator. This bold move places the Duchess of Sussex right at the center of the emotional tribute.
Meghan Markle reportedly has a big role in Prince Harry’s Diana documentary
According to an exclusive report by RadarOnline, Prince Harry is considering a project about his late mother for 2027. A production insider claimed Meghan could serve as the main narrator of Diana’s story. “Meghan isn’t getting a cameo – she’s becoming the voice of Diana’s story,” the insider said. “Harry may be the son, but Meghan will be the voice viewers hear.”
Neither Prince Harry nor Netflix has officially confirmed the potential project. RadarOnline, however, reported that the idea has already caused tension within the royal family. The potential project could also bring renewed attention to King Charles and Queen Camilla’s history. Royal expert Hilary Fordwich said increased media focus on Diana could revive scrutiny of Charles and Camilla’s past relationship. She also suggested the King would not want the anniversary year dominated by coverage of Diana’s death.
Harry has reportedly been exploring ways to honor his mother’s legacy ahead of the 2027 anniversary. PEOPLE previously reported that he had reached out to family members and friends connected to Diana. Her brother, Earl Charles Spencer, has also been involved in conversations surrounding Diana’s legacy. However, RadarOnline sources claim the potential project could further deepen the rift between Harry and William.
