Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s First UK Photos Together Reveal a Very Low-Key Date

On Thursday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their first casual outing in the UK, following their return in late August. The couple, who currently stay in the Cotswolds, reportedly headed to a 16th-century pub for lunch. The recent sighting comes after Meghan’s outing with Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, at The Three Horseshoes near Burford in Oxfordshire last month.

According to the photos published by The Sun, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted publicly, heading to a Cotswolds pub called The Falkland Arms for lunch. In the images, they held hands as they strolled casually and also took a look at the menu before heading inside the pub. Meghan was seen in a black sweater and dark pants, pairing it with white footwear and black goggles.

Meanwhile, Harry wore blue jeans, a puffer jacket, and a Santa Barbara Fire Department baseball cap. This was their first outing together since their return to the UK. However, it is worth noting that they were spotted separately in public by the paparazzi previously, with Harry also attending several major events since his return.

The Sussexes arrived in the UK on August 26. They currently live in a non-royal accommodation and don’t have taxpayer-funded security. Their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were enrolled in a particular school in early September before the Sussexes changed it due to security concerns. Since their return, they have remained in the spotlight for various reasons, including their recent clash with Buckingham Palace over a guidance letter and Charles Spencer’s recent Diana memoir.

This news also comes amid sources suggesting that the Duke of Sussex won’t get involved in any high-profile events during Remembrance Day. A friend disclosed the reason behind the absence, saying, “He’s not going to do anything that would pull focus from the Royal Family or the national commemorations at the Cenotaph in London.”
