Jim Carrey has reportedly tied the knot with his girlfriend, Min Ah
Jim Carrey has seemingly married his longtime girlfriend Min Ah. A spokesperson for The Truman Show star confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple has tied the knot. However, no further details about the wedding or venue have been shared yet. The couple’s new relationship milestone comes after their last public appearance in February at the Cesar Awards in France.
In a speech he gave entirely in French, the 64-year-old said, “Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever. Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah. And finally, thank you to the funniest man I have ever known: my father, Percy Joseph Carrey who taught me the value of love, generosity, and laughter.” His daughter, grandson, and partner received standing ovations from the audience.
Min Ah and Carrey first stirred up romance rumors in February 2022. At the time, Just Jared shared photos of the duo leaving a charity comedy show at Largo in Los Angeles. The Liar Liar actor prefers keeping his personal life out of the spotlight. Back in April 2022, Carrey joked that he might quit acting to enjoy his “quiet life” in an interview with Access Hollywood.
When host Kit Hoover inquired if he was serious, the Ace Ventura star replied, “I’m being fairly serious.” He explained, “I really like my quiet life, and I really love putting paint on canvas, and I really love my spiritual life, and I feel like — and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough.”
