Kate Middleton talks about Prince William’s passion during outing
Kate Middleton shared a lesser-known detail about Prince William during a recent royal outing. The Princess of Wales ditched gardening gloves as she attempted some gardening with her bare hands during a visit to Garon Park in Essex. She emphasized the importance of spending time outdoors and described the experience as “healing.”
She gushed over the planting area by branding it a “fantastic place” as she helped people pot plants. Middleton then divulged that her husband, William, loves gardening. The future queen said: “I should have my husband here, he knows a lot [about gardening], he’s really passionate” (via Daily Express).
Furthermore, the Princess was asked whether she mirrored her husband’s passion and tried some gardening herself. To this, she replied: “a little bit.” Middleton has often shared her love for greenery and the outdoors and the vital role it has played in her life during her recovery from cancer.
Interestingly, William previously revealed that it was his wife who got him into gardening. As per HELLO!, the Prince of Wales shared that Middleton encouraged him to try his hand at gardening to bond better with his father, King Charles. During a visit to Rhyl, North Wales, William told Brian Penney that Middleton “does all the gardening.” Furthermore, the future king confessed: “I really like it, but I have no idea what I’m doing.”
Penney reiterated, stating that William told him that Middleton believes that gardening is “something for them to enjoy together.”
In other news, it appears William and Kate are keeping themselves away from negativity surrounding the Sussexes and Charles Spencer’s book. The Waleses jointly attended Tom Cruise’s Digger premiere at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square in London (via PEOPLE).
