For those unversed, the Sussexes pulled their children, Archie and Lilibet, out of school within two days due to security concerns.
The source explained that the Princess of Wales simply “cannot switch off her sympathy” even though their families are seemingly not on talking terms. Middleton “understands” Harry’s need to protect his children from the intense media scrutiny, even when she remains wary of the Sussexes.
Furthermore, the source added: “‘She knows Harry has made mistakes and she hasn’t forgotten everything that has happened. But she remembers the Harry she was once incredibly close to.
