A source attached to the outlet said that Beatrice is having to “walk a very fine line right now,” all because of her parents’ controversies. The source explained that Beatrice does not want to get involved in William and Harry’s rift and is trying to maintain a diplomatic position in the conflict.
As per sources, Beatrice doesn’t want William to think that she is choosing Harry and Meghan Markle over him, given how “touchy” he is about the situation. The source further added that the Prince of Wales is watching “very closely” to see who will stand by him and who will go against the Waleses.
The insider explained that Beatrice has retained her royal title and the benefits that come with it. However, “it’s no secret her standing with William is hanging by a very thin thread.” Moreover, sources disclosed that the ongoing royal drama is seemingly putting a strain on her marriage to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Hence, Beatrice is trying to steer clear of the mess altogether.
It is widely speculated that William and Harry continue to share a strained relationship with each other. While the Sussexes met King Charles at his private residence in July this year, sources insist there is “no contact” with William.
