Kim Kardashian’s Instagram carousel arrived with the caption “Lost Donna Trope files.” In the main nude photograph, carefully arranged flowers covered her chest and much of her torso. The arrangement included pink orchids, roses, and large anthurium-style blooms.
Meanwhile, two pink parrots perched on her shoulders, completing the tropical setup. Her glam featured bronzed skin, sculpted cheeks, glossy nude-pink lips, and defined lashes. About two hours later, the post showed roughly 206,500 likes. One fan wrote, “I’m loving this, the eyeshadow.” Another viewer called the photographs “Iconic.”
Additionally, one close-up shifted attention almost entirely toward Kardashian’s beauty look. Purple and lavender shimmer covered her eyelids, with darker shadow defining the outer corners. Her lips had a glassy, pale-pink finish, while her dark hair fell around her shoulders. Another image showed her with a pink parrot beside her face.
Meanwhile, the flower-heavy frames appeared connected to Kardashian’s earlier Donna Trope work. In May 2020, she shared a similar KKW Beauty image captioned “Tropical vibes.” That photograph also featured strategic floral coverage and a parrot. She credited Trope, makeup artist Mary Phillips, and hairstylist Chris Appleton.
For context, flowers had previously appeared in Kardashian’s nude beauty image. In 2018, she promoted KKW Beauty’s Cherry Blossom Collection, which featured only pink blossoms. Around that period, her KKW Body fragrance campaign also used fully nude photographs and strategic posing. Years earlier, her 2014 PAPER shoot became another major nude moment.
Kardashian later said, “I did it for me.” Then, during a 2025 “Call Her Daddy” interview, she said the fully nude PAPER images were not originally planned. The new post, therefore, reopened a familiar visual chapter as the reality star found her creative “Donna Trope” creative spark suggested by her cheeky caption.
