Prince Harry’s New Peace Plan With Prince William Hits a Major Wall — Source

Prince Harry may have an opportunity to reach out to Prince William as another significant royal date approaches, but a new report suggests the timing could make any attempt to reconnect with his brother particularly difficult. The brothers have followed separate paths for years, with little indication that their strained relationship has improved.

Now, William’s plans for his upcoming anniversary with Kate Middleton could offer another glimpse into the current state of their relationship.

Prince Harry and Prince William have remained largely distant in recent years, with their relationship becoming increasingly strained after the Sussexes stepped back from their royal duties. According to New Idea, Kate Middleton has attempted to broker peace between the brothers, but William is reportedly not ready for a family reunion.

The sources also highlighted William’s appearance in Dartmoor on Harry’s birthday, where the Prince of Wales launched a new community project. A royal insider told New Idea: “William is definitely sending Harry a message, loud and clear, that he’s not interested in reuniting or making nice right now.” The source further claimed there had been “near zero contact” between the brothers since Harry and Meghan returned to the UK.

The insider added that the lack of communication was likely to continue “for the foreseeable future, birthdays or no birthdays.” The source also claimed that Harry may have viewed his birthday as a personal milestone and a potential opportunity to take a step toward reconciliation.

However, with William committed to his Dartmoor engagement, the insider said that possibility had “totally evaporated,” as the royal’s schedule would keep him away from London and far from Harry. Meanwhile, William and Kate are set to mark 25 years since their love story began at the University of St. Andrews in 2001, where they lived in the same residence.

The Sussexes, meanwhile, have continued pursuing their own public-facing projects since returning to the UK. According to New Idea, William and Kate may opt for a private celebration, although the Cotswolds may not be their preferred destination after Harry and Meghan recently moved there.

As William and Kate’s special day draws closer, the timing could put Harry in a difficult position. He could choose to make the first move toward his brother or allow their long-standing silence to continue.
